In March of 2020, I was one of 24 writers commissioned by Risa Brainin and Annie Torsiglieri to create a short virtual play for UCSB’s Launchpad program. My play Auld Lang Syne, which examines the desperate need to connect many felt during the lockdown, premiered online in June of 2020 and is now published in the Alone, Together anthology. Risa Brainin directed the original production, featuring Annie Torsiglieri and Irwin Appel.
